PiEROGIE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pierogies from frozen. Boil for a maximum 2 minutes. Remove each pierogie from the boiling water IMMEDIATELY with a slotted spoon.
Place boiled pierogies into a frying pan with 1/4cup of melted butter (& onions to your preference) and fry on medium heat. Fry until both sides of pierogies are slightly browned. Serve with sour cream.
Bacon Cheeseburger, Campfire Steak, Bollywood Butter Chicken, Mexikrainian, Buffalo Wing & Turkey Dinner varieties – skip boiling step & fry in melted butter on medium heat straight from frozen.
Melt 1/4cup of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Place frozen dessert pierogies into the pan and gently turn each over to lightly brown each side. Repeat as needed. Remove from the pan and top with powdered sugar, whipped cream or ice cream.
DO NOT BOIL BACON WRAPPED PIEROGIES! Place frozen bacon wrapped pierogies onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 mins then flip each pierogie once. Bake for an additional 15 mins or to desired crispiness of bacon.
